I have been an electrician for over 30 years, bringing a wealth of experience. My journey in the solar industry began in 2010 when I expanded my electrical contractor business in Queensland. Over the years, I have installed hundreds of solar panels, witnessing the industry's evolution towards battery storage solutions.

My business in Queensland flourished, growing to include four installation teams and office support staff operating out of a premise in North Brisbane. As the solar industry grew and government incentives made rooftop solar installations more popular, my family and I decided to embrace a sea change. In 2013, we moved to Lennox Head in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales.

Continuing my work in the energy sector, I noticed a growing interest in battery storage solutions. With feed-in tariff rates to the grid decreasing, more and more customers were looking for efficient ways to use their generated power. Battery storage emerged as the optimal solution, allowing homeowners to store their power for use at night and providing the added security of blackout protection.
